Quality vs. Quantity
We've all seen them - those irresistible photography deals floating around social media: "50 Photos for $50 in 15 Minutes" ugh.... At first glance it sounds like a steal. Who wouldn't want a ton of photos for the price of takeout?
But here's the low down: when it comes to photography, more doesn't always mean better. In fact, it often means LESS - less quality, less care, and a lot less joy when you're scrolling through your gallery thinking, "Didn't I already see this same photo eight times?
I believe in delivering a carefully curated gallery of meaningful, beautifully composed images - not a digital dump of every frame shot in your session. Here's why quality wins, every time
The Gallery Glaze-Over is Real
When you're handed 50 or 100 images, most of which look nearly identical your brain checks out...boof..gone! You start playing "Where's Waldo? " trying to find the one where everyone's eyes are open and no one's mid-blink. A smaller, thoughtful selection helps you connect emotionally with each image rather than sifting through a sea of mediocrity.
Editing Takes Time - Good Editing Takes Skill
In bargain basement deals, images are often batched-edited (or barely edited at all). That means inconsistent color awkward lighting, and flyaway hairs left untouched. High quality photography has precise, professional editing that brings out your natural beauty, not a filter slapped on every shot to save time.
You Deserve More Than Just "Good Enough"
You are investing in capturing a moment, a milestone or a memory, something that matters to you. Those moments deserve attention to detail, artistry and someone who knows how to make you feel comfortable and confident in front of the lens. That kind of experience doesn't come in a flash sale package.
Fewer Photos, More Meaning
When I photograph a session, I'm not aiming to give you every shot - I'm aiming to give you the right shot!! The images that make you pause, smile, tear up just little . These are the images you'll print frame and treasure.
So next time a "too good to be true" photo deal pops up in your feed, pause and ask yourself:
Do I want a lot of pictures, or do I want the right pictures?
Your future self and your wall art will thank you for choosing quality.
